About

I was introduced to yoga during a spa holiday to St Lucia in December 2002. On return to Aberdeen, I took up a regular practice under Leila Donald and subsequently with Allison Summers (both teachers trained under the late, highly respected Ian Scorgie).

Almost 9 years later with an increasing passion for yoga and realising the benefits it brought to my everyday life, I embarked on the Yoga Scotland Foundation course held in Aberdeen. Following that, I went on to commence the YS Teacher Training course in Edinburgh in September 2012 qualifying as a YS teacher in June 2014.

I’ve been teaching since April 2013.  My current classes are one in Nuffield gym on a Saturday lunchtime and an evening class in Craigiebuckler church hall on Tuesdays.

Whilst I take my yoga seriously, I think it is enormously important to have fun in class too! As with all things in life, it’s all about balance. 🙂
